shabbat shalom from NYC Pegisha!

Hi,

Today we traveled to  Brooklyn NY for Shabbat, to join "Pegisha"- a Shabbat with 1200+ Jewish students converging on Crown Heights - the Temple group is pumped for a good time!!

Nowadays traveling with GPS and Waze we always feel like we know where we are going and how long it will take to get there. Every now and then I get a reminder that I'm not in control, like when I'm going to Brooklyn and the ETA keeps on growing due to traffic...

In this week's Torah portion we read about G-d telling Abraham to travel "to the place that I will show you" - without even telling him where his final destination would be! As we know, Abraham listened, and traveled.

In life it's good to remember, we just need to make sure we are doing the right thing while we're on the journey, but the final destination is up to G-d.

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom from Brooklyn!
